The new collection from Sassoon celebrates the core fundamentals of the brand; assured craftsmanship, incomparable technique and innovative imagination.
To mark their 65th anniversary, the International Creative Team have delved into the rich Sassoon legacy. The iconic shapes of the late sixties and early seventies, where the looks segued from the first wave of geometrics into longer, flowing looks inspire the concept of lines and layering, very much the backbone of this collection.
The colour techniques feature geometric panels that are coloured with shades that contrast with natural bases. Sometimes these panels are monochromatically toned other times in graduated layers of fuchsia and violet producing prismatic effects.
“The collection is styled in a very particular way.” Says Sassoon International Creative Director Mark Hayes, “We wanted to show that geometry in cut and colour works when it is loose and unstructured as well as when it is groomed and controlled.”
